When a base has been deemed 'abandoned', the following steps will be taken to delete the base from the server:
  - Vehicles associated with the base owner will be sold, donated or scrapped.
  - All loot inside containers (such as lockers, sea chests, tents etc) will be 
    removed and either discarded or offered to other players.
  - All cabinets, furniture, tents, gun racks and containers of any type will be 
    emptied and dismantled.
    The resulting furniture kits will either be given away or left at their existing
    location to despawn naturally.
In some cases the ownership of the base may be transferred to a different player instead of dismantling it.

A base will be deemed abandoned when any of the following conditions exists:
  - The flag at a base has dropped and has been automatically deleted by the server.
  - The base owner has indicated that they do not intend to return to the server.
  - The base owner has been banned and is unable to return to the server.
  - The base owner has not played on the server for more than 45 days.
  - The base owner repeatedly joins the server for the purpose of raising their flag and refreshing their vehicles, but does not actually play on the server.
  - A player other than the base owner raises the flag for the purpose of keeping the base alive.
