When a flagpole is built it is automatically registered in our system. Specifically, when the first Wooden Log is hammered in place - that is when the registration happens. It allows us to keep track of who owns each base on the map. This information is not visible to any players.

Base Alerts will ONLY be triggered if the base owner has linked their player to their Discord ID. If you have not linked there will be NO intrusion alerts generated. If you want to get base alerts you must link you profile
Base Proximity Alerts: When an unauthorized player's location is within the trigger radius of a registered base, an alert will be triggered. The alert will NO LONGER be broadcast globally. The Bot will send a DM via Discord to the base owner. The alert DM will contain the message "Intruder Alert" followed by the name of the intruder and the distance from the base. The DM will also contain 2 buttons: Add Member - If this option is selected the "intruder" will be added to the list of base members for that base. From that moment onward you will no longer receive alerts for that player if they enter your base proximity. Only select this option if you trust the player. Ignore - Use this option to acknowledge the alert. When clicked, the alert is deleted and if the player enters the vicinity of the base again a new alert will be sent to the base owner. You will not receive additional alerts until you press ignore to clear the existing alert. Do nothing - the base owner will not receive additional alerts for that intruder until either the Ignore button is clicked or until the server resets the alert due to a Bot reset or other automated cleanup. If the Bot replies with "This interaction failed" that means the alert has already expired and clicking the button will have had no effect. This usually means that the Bot has been restarted since the alert was sent which makes the buttons no longer valid.
